Dear Fairmount Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Fairmount! It is a joy to welcome our students, families, staff, and community as we begin the 2026–2027 school year together.

At Fairmount, we believe that every child can succeed. Each student brings unique strengths, talents, experiences, and possibilities to our school. Our commitment is to know our students well, support them in their growth, and create meaningful opportunities for every child to learn, explore, connect, and thrive.

We also know that our students are most successful when schools and families work together. Our partnership with families is essential. We value your voices, your experiences, and the important role you play in your child’s education. Through open communication, shared celebrations, and collaboration through challenges, we can create an even stronger community for our children.

Most importantly, we want Fairmount to be a place where every child and family experiences love and belonging. We want our students to walk through our doors knowing they are welcomed, valued, cared for, and an important part of our school community. When children know they belong, they have the confidence to take risks, build relationships, discover their strengths, and become the very best versions of themselves.

The year ahead will be filled with learning, growth, new opportunities, and moments of joy. I am grateful that we get to experience them together.
